March 2006

Choo Choo Owen is 2!
Ahh yes, the coming of age. Owen turned 2 on the 22nd and we had a small family get together yesterday to celebrate. That was so much fun. Seeing Owen try to blow out his candle was so funny. He practiced on his real birthday and nailed it. Too much pressure this time, his cousins needed to help him out. The scene was a mess of kids running around inside, and in the yard, playing games and falling down the hill. Play rooms in every room. Hitting the number two was fun to watch. Candy vultures attack! Some new friends were made. Owen had a great time and got some great gifts that he loves.

Thanks to all who attended, you made it a special day.

Happy BirthdayWondering what to get me this year? This post will make it easier on you. I decided to get involved in some different summer sports this year. These are the items I am interested in to help me out with these new activities. Thanks for looking and taking the time to look. I love you already!

Paintball
Black Fingerless Gloves - Protecting the hands.
Goggles - Lets keep my eyes thank you.
Cammo pants (32-34 waist), shoes (9 1/2) and shirt - I am green so I can hide. Any cammo will do (think light for Summer).
Chest Protector - No hickies.
Ammo - Better to have and not need…
Paintball Gun - Look out!
Golf
Wilson Optimax Right-Handed Golf Set - A starter set to get my swing in order.
Surf
Skimboard - Any will do, it just needs to support 175 LBS or so.
Thats it!

The competition was tight but Hatchling captures a couple of awards last night at the NH.com Internet Awards.Calypso Communications

First place for Technology for our work on Calypsocom.com. Third place for or development of FrenchSoaps.com. Both sites use ColdFusion for their back-end programming utilizing Flash to deliver some real rich content. Submitting only three sites we seem to have a good track record. Last year we did just as well, so our batting averages make us strong contenders.French Soaps

We had a blast hanging out with New Hampshire’s best web companies. The social before the award ceremony was the most interesting to me. Talking shop with the other companies always reveals some information I find valuable. It’s good to represent and have good time, rather then just competing against each other. Next year should be just as fun. See you there!

Well Hatchling is putting the finishing touches on the short film “The Toll”. It’s produced by Marc Dole and written and directed by Zack Pike. You can teak a sneak peak at www.thetollmovie.com. Hope you like it. It was real fun to be a part of its process and help in its production. We will be revealing it this year at some film festivals across the county, so look out for it. We also have been working on the behind the scenes making of the documentary aptly labeled “Loose Change”. We will be posting that on the site as well, so look out for that.

Well I now have my domain under control. Jeremy Clough is back. I can begin to tell you about myself again (yawn). Long ago I started a site about me and sort of lost track of it. I have been busy. I think that’s what I said last time. I will try to be more active here and update the site when I can.

As I write my wife Julie is trying to get my son Owen to bed. It’s late. He had been making this a habit again. Teeth hurt.

Tomorrow I will be going to the NH.com Internet Awards. Being from New Hampshire, a geek and a part of Hatchling.com I will be going with my co-workers for the fun. It’s always good to mingle with the local competition.

Until then. I will let you know how it goes.
